Closed thread Closed by archiveWhat's your red flag list for sketchy FC 27 downloads? I've seen pages with no real documentation, a download hidden behind five redirects, and instructions that basically say "turn off your antivirus and don't ask questions." Hard pass on that last one.
I know no download can be declared safe from a website screenshot, but what are the obvious warning signs people should stop ignoring?

Replies are closedAsking you to disable security software with no clear explanation is an enormous red flag. Don't do it just because the installer says so.
Also avoid running mystery files as admin when you don't understand where they came from. "It needs admin" isn't proof it's legit.
Fake countdown timers and "only 2 keys left" on a digital file. Mate, the key isn't a concert ticket.
Don't put your EA password into a third-party loader or website. If you already did, change it and review account security immediately.
And don't treat a Discord screenshot or a random "works 100%" comment as independent verification. Those can be staged.
