The Grounds and Clubs: What Actually Helps If You're Inconsistent?

Our little Clubs group is chaotic. Everyone wants to dribble, nobody wants to cover the back post, and then we all blame the game when we concede. Classic.

For FC 27, what basic habits actually make a difference in 11v11? Not looking for cheesy exploits, just stuff a mixed-skill group can practice without turning game night into a coaching seminar.

Pick roles before kickoff. If three people all decide they're the striker, somebody has to defend eventually.

One extra pass beats a forced through ball more often than my ego wants to admit.

Give the person on the ball one clear option. Don't all sprint into the same channel and then complain they passed backwards.

We made a rule that the first person who says "scripted" has to play keeper next match. Morale has improved dramatically.

Actual tip: use voice chat for short calls like "hold," "man on," or "switch." A ten-second speech is usually too late.
